2009 Campaign:
Lavela High School
Zola North - Soweto
The 2009 Campaign
went in a very pleasant way when Msamanzi hosted two lovely ladies
from Lavela High School, Zola, Soweto, thanks to the school team lead
by Ms. Siza Mthimkhulu.
Our VIP guests were Dineo and Nompumelelo both doing Grade 9. It was
an experience of their life time as they were chauffeured in style,
although they were both nervous at first, fearing they might not feel
very welcome at the work place,
but this turned to be rosy and the
girls were cheerful as the day progressed.
The girls were
exposed to the company's daily work routine such as filing, typing,
online document capturing under the instructions of Nonhlanhla Ndlela
and were well catered for by Judith Mothibi.
A glamour photo-shoot
took place conducted by our graphic photographer complements of
dream models
portfolios.
Msamanzi management
hope that in future they will be able
to host more girls, as there is
so much demand for this kind
of exposure to girls in the local level
and those
in rural areas.

2011 Campaign: Sebokeng Technical High
Sebokeng - Vaal
THANKS FOR
HOSTING OUR GIRLS
On behalf of learners,
parents and staff of the above mentioned school, we would like
to thank you for hosting our school during the 2011 Cell C Take
a Girl Child to Work programme.
You really made history to
our school. Our school has been looking for this opportunity
long time ago but we were neglected.
Team work, respect
humbleness, initiative, customer care and independence skills
acquired from your company have been the anthem of the week by
our learners.
Your support was correctly
channeled since 90% of our learners come from unemployed single
parents and child headed families.
Their exposure to the real
world of work gas expressively motivated our learners and
exposed them to various careers within one company.
Msamanzi Financial Services
will remain the popular name for our school and Sebokeng at
large.
May you please pass our
gratitude to your co-sponsors Cell C for their good initiative.
You shifted our learners from a common slogan of being “Today a
girl, tomorrow an ordinary mother – “ to” Today a girl, tomorrow
a leader”.
We are hoping to sustain the
established relationship by attending sessions as proposed,
chatting through email and creating opportunity also to our LSEN
(Learners with Special Educational Needs) to register their own
companies.
Pass our regards to your
welcoming, committed and loving staff members. Your humble
character as a director of the company is unbelievable.
We wish your company can grow
bigger and bigger so that you host more learners of our school.
Yours Faithfully,
Radebe D.P (Principal).
